In 2012, Digital Learning Day started to celebrate the innovative uses of digital devices, educational software, and apps for mobile devices. This day is an opportunity for educators to share and showcase their instructional technology excellence in the classroom. A number of schools are doing amazing things with instructional technology and this is an opportunity to share with other educators. Digital Learning Day is celebrated nationwide, because those involved and those who have participated quickly realized that it is not about the technology it’s about learning! It’s about using the tools students are using everyday.
We encourage you to participate and to showcase the innovative uses of instructional technology in your schools.
